Valley #1: Sophie Irwin

I am in 11th grade, but I have been playing soccer since | was three and club soccer for SVA since I was 8. I am a proud team captain, and I work hard to better myself and my team in every practice and every game. 

I lead my team in assists and my awareness on the field makes me stand out. I can play in any position (besides keeper), and I can adapt to play wherever my team needs me most. I have lettered all 3 years of high school, and I hope to move on and continue to play at the collegiate level.

In addition to soccer, I am also a letter winner for my freshman and sophomore years in basketball and expect to letter this year as well. Academically, I am a part of the Beta Club, National Honor Society, and SMASH club.  I have taken 6 CCP courses so far and maintain a 4.0 GPA.
