Valley #16: Grayson Knoske

CLUB CAREER:

Grayson plays club for Soccer Vision Academy (SVA) under Coach Mitchell, where she plays Forward Wing full-time and assists as a Striker, Mid-Fielder, and Defensive Wingback when needed. Grayson has helped her team win numerous championship titles, which include: the Great Lakes GLA NPL Premier, the Ohio State Cup, the Richmond Capital Fall Classic, and more. Grayson also traveled to Denver, Colorado to participate in the US Soccer National Cup XXll, where she assisted her team in securing the National Championship Title in July 2023. Grayson’s team traveled back to Denver securing National Championship Finalist Title in July 2025.

HIGH SCHOOL CAREER:

Grayson Knoske, a senior standout on Champion High School’s soccer team under Coach Metheny, has made quite an impact as a 4-year varsity letterman. Her contributions have been nothing short of remarkable. 

1.    Leadership and Impact:

•        Grayson played a pivotal role in her team’s success, which included assisting and leading them to an undefeated regular season and district championship victory.

•        Her leadership qualities are evident, and as she took on more responsibility, her influence on the team is set to grow. Her leadership growth earned her position as Team Captain during her junior and senior year. 

•        As a major contributor to her team's success, she actively participates in their development.

•        She contributed 48 assists in four seasons, demonstrating her overall desire to see others and her team thrive as a team player. 

2.        Exceptional Talent:

•        Grayson’s talent is undeniable. Opposing defenses have struggled with her attacks on the goal. 

•        As a Forward and Midfielder, her exceptional field vision and speed make her an incredibly challenging force to stop.

Grayson has assisted her team in securing multiple achievements throughout her high school, which include: 

•        2023: Breaking school history with a 21-1 Undefeated Regular Season, MVAC Champions, Ohio Division III Champions, Regional Final Runner-Ups, and gaining the title of ELITE EIGHT in Ohio.

•        2024: Assisted her team in playing two positions (striker and mid-field) as a captain and reached District Finals and were runner-up’s. 

•        2025: As a senior, she assisted her team in playing multiple positions (striker and mid-field) as a captain.

In addition to soccer, Grayson participates in Varsity Track and Cheerleading, is Vice President of Champion High School Student Council, a member of Champion Teens Care, a mentor for Freshman Academy, and a Student Aide for the Athletic Director.  Academically, she has completed and currently enrolled in honors courses and college credit plus classes while maintaining a GPA of 3.75.
